Update: 2025/05/05
What a cool looking date today?🤷🏼
It has been 13 days since i have been Diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. (T3, N2b, MO, 10cm)
Which means:
T3, N2b, and M0, and a tumor size of 10cm, the expected life expectancy without treatment is generally poor. The cancer has spread to multiple nearby lymph nodes and is considered locally advanced but not yet metastatic. Without treatment, patients with locally advanced colon cancer (similar to this staging) might have a median overall survival of 5 to 6 months, with some potentially living a few months or a year in rare cases.
With treatment life expectancy median survival is 5 years + and if no reoccurrence occurs i will outlive us all to a 100.🤩🤩👀
It took me 2 days to decide to be treated, i am seeing the surgeon for the 1st time on 2025/05/12
Mom, i believe i will outlive you. You will beat me to your Heaven.❤️❤️
I will be fine.
No!! i won’t be fine!!
I will be Better than Fine!!
This will be the Best thing that could have happend to me.
Just like i hated the illness of addiction in my family, until i realised it was the Best thing that ever happened.
I also want to share below text with u:
Maybe, Maybe Not
The ancient Taoist parable often called “Maybe , Maybe Not. We’ll See.” or “The Farmer’s Luck.” Here’s how it typically goes:
⸻
Once upon a time, there was a farmer in a small village.
One day, his horse ran away.
The neighbors said, “Oh no, such bad luck!”
The farmer replied, “Maybe, maybe not. We’ll see.”
The next day, the horse returned—bringing with it three wild horses.
The neighbors exclaimed, “How wonderful!”
The farmer said, “Maybe, maybe not. We’ll see.”
Later, the farmer’s son tried to ride one of the wild horses, was thrown off, and broke his leg.
The villagers cried, “What a tragedy!”
The farmer responded, “Maybe, maybe not. We’ll see.”
A week later, soldiers came to the village to draft young men into the army.
They passed over the farmer’s son because of his broken leg.
The neighbors congratulated the farmer, “What great luck!”
And the farmer said, “Maybe, maybe not. We’ll see.”
⸻
The moral is about non-attachment, perspective, and the unpredictability of life. Things that seem good or bad at the moment may change in meaning over time. It’s a lesson in humility and patience.
